Based in Boulder, Colorado, we are in our seventh year of North American market development, with products available in over 20,000 grocery stores across the U.S. and a robust e-commerce presence.

Our values as a company are our north star. It is important every employee contributes to them as we strive to create a successful business that contributes to a more joyful life.

  1. We make work a place we all want to be.
  2. We’re entrusted to deliver quality work. How we get there is up to us.
  3. We choose thoughtful solutions even when it’s not easy.

What You’ll Do

As our Director of Continuous Improvement, you’ll help build the operational engine that powers The Good Crisp Company’s next stage of growth. Reporting to the SVP of Operations, you’ll partner across manufacturing, QA, NPD/commercialization, supply chain, demand planning, and our co-manufacturing network to identify high-impact opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, increase yield, and expand margin. Your work will directly influence how we scale. Ensuring our operations are disciplined, data-driven, and built for profitable growth.

In this role, you’ll turn insights into action. That means digging into production and cost data, identifying root causes, and leading structured improvement initiatives from idea through implementation and validation. You’ll help standardize best practices across co-manufacturers and warehouse partners, ensuring consistency and replicability as we expand. You’ll also collaborate closely with NPD to embed operational excellence into new product launches and renovations, making sure innovation translates into measurable performance gains. Ultimately, you’ll ensure our operations are scalable, resilient, and aligned with the quality and consistency our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a prioritized operational productivity roadmap focused on margin expansion through yield improvement, waste reduction, and cost efficiency across our network.
  • Lead high impact improvement initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation and validated financial impact.
  • Establish clear metrics and tracking systems to measure impact and ensure results.
  • Partner with FP&A to quantify COGS impact, validate realized savings, and maintain transparency against margin objectives.
  • Ensure operational learnings from product development, trials, and renovations are translated into actionable improvements and embedded into production processes.
  • Provide operational input for capital investments and support process improvements where clear performance gains and ROI are demonstrated.
  • Partner across Operations Department functional leads to implement improvements, ensuring changes are adopted effectively and aligned with overall business priorities.

Who You Are

  • You are relentlessly curious and data-driven.
  • You thrive in growth-stage environments where systems are still being built and improvement is both strategic and hands-on.
  • You enjoy bringing structure and discipline to ambiguity, creating clear processes, metrics, and accountability where they don’t yet exist.
  • You’re energized by cross-functional collaboration and know how to align manufacturing, QA, supply chain, finance, and NPD around shared goals.
  • You build relationships and trust easily across functions through trust and credibility.
  • You’re resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced CPG environment where priorities evolve as the company scales.
  • You are excited to create a work environment that others want to be part of.

Qualifications

  • 6-8+ years of progressive experience in continuous improvement, operations, manufacturing excellence or operational strategy.
  • Demonstrated success leading cost savings and productivity initiatives in a manufacturing environment (CPG or food & beverage preferred)
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives at once
  • Financial acumen, able to quantify impact, build business cases and track ROI
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives
